Yoga: Hot Yoga
Course Description: Hot Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga performed in a heated room. Class formats vary but usually follows a system of 26 Yoga Postures. The room temperature ranges between 90F – 105F.

Yoga: Svaroopa Yoga (All Levels)
Course Description: Svaroopa Yoga (sometimes referred to as "bliss yoga") works with yoga poses in a way that is both precise and compassionate. The practice is deceptively easy. You learn different ways of doing familiar poses, which creates a deep opening in the muscles around the spine. Core tensions in the body begin in the muscles around the base of the spine and then affect the rest of the body. Svaroopa Yoga begins by releasing the muscles around the tailbone and then carries the changes through the sacrum, lumbar vertebrae and the rest of the way up the spine through the shoulders and neck. As the spine begins to release tension, the effects radiate throughout the entire body. The result is a reduction in muscular tension. The body feels supple, new and flexible. The relative ease of the poses brings a deep effect, catalyzing powerful experiences of healing and transformation.

Course Description: n Grounded Yoga classes we share the transformational benefits of yoga with children and teens. Each class is based on a theme that will inspire them to manage their physical and emotional responses to life. We begin by tuning in to the bigger picture that we are intrinsically good. From there, we move into poses and flows designed to tap into what all kids and teens relate to in their life. We empower students with breathing techniques that help energize, calm, cleanse, and balance their body and mind and show them how to practice yoga anytime. These classes align with our adult yoga classes. Classes are forming and require a minimum of 5 students so register now and secure your place!

Yoga Atlanta is now pleased to offer a program tailored specifically for corporations to offer employees as part of their wellness package. Yoga is known to play a significant role in the treatment and management of stress induced disorders. Yoga can help your employees create balance within all the body systems; quieting the nervous system, providing freedom from anxiety, and promoting inner harmony. Your employees will learn various breathing techniques to use in daily situations, along with yoga postures to relieve back discomfort by strengthening, toning, stretching, and relaxing the muscles. Yoga Atlanta will be offering these specially designed classes at your place of business. Your employees may experience the following benefits:

You would have the option of offering these classes during lunch (between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm) or after work (4:30 pm - 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm). The length of the class is 55 minutes.
